Sheffield Wednesday are out for revenge after Sheffield United were comfortable 3–0 winners at Hillsborough in November. If they can claim a victory, it will be their first since the 2008/09 season at Bramall Lane.
Henrik Pedersen’s squad has changed a lot since the first meeting with United this season. Noticeably, Barry Bannan and Bailey Cadamarteri have left the club. But new players have come in, who have all added a little something extra to the squad.
Who starts on Sunday at Bramall Lane will be debated right until the teams are announced. The debate about whether Pedersen got it right or not will carry on for several weeks.

The Owls switched to four at the back against Swansea City, and despite conceding four goals, they stuck with that formation for the home game against Millwall.
It was clear against Millwall that the new formation, 4-2-3-1, gave them more attacking ability. Pedersen will likely go with that formation against Chris Wilder’s side, as they look to cause United more issues than they did at Hillsborough.
