Another Sheffield Wednesday youngster is knocking on the door of a first start for the Owls. The upcoming Easter double could be the perfect opportunity for him.

Henrik Pedersen has been forced to put his trust in youngsters this season. A handful have looked out of their depth, which is to be expected at their age and with their lack of experience at this level.

However, the majority have come through and impressed in really testing circumstances. George Brown, Sean Fusire, Ernie Weaver, and Jarvis Thornton, to name a few, have all shown they are ready for first-team action.

One player who could be next up for Wednesday is forward Devlan Moses. He’s made several substitute appearances for the senior team, while scoring goals at the U21 level, and now, at the U21 level for his national side, Northern Ireland.

The 20-year-old striker scored his first goal for Northern Ireland U21s against Latvia U21s.

Sheffield Wednesday’s young forward came on with 15 minutes to go and helped add to the Northern Ireland lead.
