Sheffield Wednesday are set for life in League One, under what will hopefully be the new ownership of Arise.

It’s unknown what, if any, transfer restrictions the Owls will be under after the mismanagement of Dejphon Chansiri.

Talks are said to be ongoing and progressing well between Arise and the EFL, meaning Wednesday fans should know how the start of next season will look soon.

If they are allowed to sign players, one player they should certainly be looking at is in-form forward Joe Taylor. He’s currently on loan at Wigan Athletic from Huddersfield Town but is reported to be available this summer.

Despite not being at Huddersfield for long, Taylor found himself available for loan in January, joining fellow League One side, Wigan Athletic.

Since making the move, he has really caught the eye. Taylor has scored nine goals in 13 games and is currently the scorer for Wigan despite only joining a couple of months ago.

In total, this season, he’s scored 13 League One goals, the other four coming for the Terriers in the first half of the season.
