Sheffield Wednesday’s squad has changed massively in the past 12 months. Even in the January transfer window that has just ended, two key players and one future talent departed, with several short-term loans incoming.
Some of Henrik Pedersen’s new signings have caught the eye immediately, with others yet to wear the blue and white of Wednesday.
With so much change in January, we’ve put together our Sheffield Wednesday starting 11 for the rest of the season.
It’s worth noting that Wednesday have numerous players out injured. These players have been excluded from selection but have been mentioned where applicable.
Despite Pedersen sticking with a five at the back, it looks like it’s time for a change to four. The Owls have struggled to create many chances and having more creative, attacking players on the pitch could help.

Murphy Cooper joined on loan from QPR to cover for Pierce Charles, who picked up a shoulder injury.
Cooper has really impressed since joining the Owls. Against Blackburn Rovers, he received a rating of 8.1 from Sofascore, taking his average rating up to 7.18.
