Frustrations with the running of Leicester City should be put to one side in order to help the club stave off relegation, manager Gary Rowett has said.

City supporters’ anger at the organisation at the top of the club has reached new levels this season, with protests outside the ground at two of three past three home matches.

While Rowett repeated his previous message, calling for fans to get behind the players, ahead of another potential protest on Good Friday against Preston, the boss has asked supporters to set aside their grievances to help keep the club up.

The protests have not affected the atmosphere inside the ground, with Rowett’s arrival as manager perhaps raising the volume levels in some instances.
