Leicester City sit in a precarious position, their Championship future on the line, and goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk is “taking it personally”.

The number one may not have grown up a Leicester local, but he’s now spent close to a decade at City and says their current woes affect him deeply.

He’s determined to pay back a club and a city that gave a chance to a 16-year-old playing non-league football in Poland.

“For the past nine years, I’ve been here more than at home,” Stolarczyk told LeicestershireLive. “Leicester is my home, the club and the city are a huge part of my life. That’s why I take it personally, the position we’re in as a club.

“The frustration of the fans at times, in me, there’s a feeling of wanting to do well not just for myself, but for the club and for the fans.
