Rangers are looking to get back to winning ways after appointing Danny Rohl as their new manager.

After Andrew Cavenagh led a drawn-out process of replacing Russell Martin, the Gers finally landed on the former Sheffield Wednesday head coach.

Rohl is already at a disadvantage at Ibrox, with many fans wanting either Steven Gerrard or Kevin Muscat to take charge on G51 after they were being heavily linked with the job.

The German boss may have a lot of work to do to get fans back onside, and while the Glaswegian outfit are sending the right messages, they may have gone overboard with a few things.

Keith Jackson isn’t pleased to see the Gers posting the pictures of Rohl’s brown brogues on their official website.

The Daily Record journalist called the move a “shambles”, with the decision-makers at Ibrox likely trying too hard to appease supporters.

While Rohl brought back the tradition of wearing a suit that Russell Martin trampled, which Jackson gave him credit for, the picture of the brown brogues was a bit too much.
