Neil Lennon is a Celtic hero who won trophies as a player and a manager.

Revered at Parkhead, especially during his playing days, he has now revealed he actually preferred playing at Ibrox.

Lennon was involved in many a battle with Rangers, coming out on the losing side plenty but also winning his fair share. He also coached and managed during the nine-in-a-row run, so knows all about tasting success in the fixture.

And for some reason, it just felt that bit sweeter when done on enemy territory.

Asked if he preferred winning at Ibrox, the Dunfermline boss told the Scottish Sun: "Yeah, funnily enough. I loved playing there. I loved the pitch, I loved the the logistics of the stadium, obviously the atmosphere. I really enjoyed playing there.

"And obviously you had the fans, you had the double decker behind the goal, and you could see what it meant to them. And it was just that bit more special for me, for whatever reason."
