Danny Rohl has inherited a woeful situation at Rangers.

Rohl was hired as the new Rangers manager last week, to replace Russell Martin, who was sacked after just four months in charge.

Rangers sit sixth in the Scottish Premiership, after winning just one of their opening eight matches in the competition.

Rohl has a huge task on his hands to turn things around in Govan, and his reign started with a 3-0 Europa League loss to SK Brann.

He will back himself after his impressive spell with Sheffield Wednesday, shown in the Sofascore graphic below, but he could play a part in a historically bad record.

Rangers have a grim record at home so far this season, having played four, with three draws and a loss.

They have scored just three and conceded five in their matches in front of their own fans, including a 2-0 loss to league leaders Hearts.

The last time that Rangers failed to win five Scottish Premiership matches at Ibrox was in August 1988, under the stewardship of Graeme Souness.
