Rangers' new men's first-team performance manager is the father-in-law of Germany star Timo Werner.

Sascha Lense, who joined the club as part of new head coach Danny Rohl's backroom team, is related to the RB Leipzig attacker through the marriage of his daughter.

The 50-year-old's arrival, alongside assistant coach Matthias Kaltenbach, was confirmed on Wednesday.

They will be part of the team for Rangers' Europa League match against Brann.

Rohl has pledged to make some changes to the lineup, after a 2-2 draw with Dundee United on Saturday.
