Ryan Gravenberch has dealt Liverpool an injury blow ahead of the Reds' trip to Eintracht Frankfurt as he sat out open training on Tuesday. The Dutchman was forced off with an ankle injury in Sunday's defeat to Manchester United.

The 23-year-old twisted his ankle when challenging Bryan Mbeumo early in the second half, and while he initially tried to play on, he was withdrawn shortly after the hour-mark as Liverpool went on to suffer a 2-1 defeat.

Arne Slot would confirm after the game that Gravenberch's withdrawal was a result of his injury and he would be assessed ahead of the trip to Germany.
