Dominik Szoboszlai has revealed the Liverpool squad have held a number of meetings aimed at helping kickstart their season as they look to avoid a 73-year low in Germany. The Reds go into Wednesday evening’s Champions League clash at Eintracht Frankfurt on the back of four successive defeats following Sunday's dismal 2-1 Premier League reverse at home to bitter North West rivals Manchester United.

Not since September 1953 have Liverpool lost five games in a row, a season in which they were ultimately relegated from the top flight.

With Ryan Gravenberch absent with an ankle injury suffered in the loss to United, the versatile Szoboszlai is favourite to fill the gap one of the two defensive midfield roles.
