Tottenham Hotspur have signed some of the best young talent in the world in recent years. The standout name is Lucas Bergvall.

In February 2024, Spurs signed Lucas Bergvall from Swedish side Djurgarden for £8.5million on a five-year contract. Rob Mackenzie, Head of Scouting at Tottenham, played a crucial role in the youngster’s signing. Brought to the club by Johan Lange from Aston Villa, Rob Mackenzie made an immediate impact with his expertise and lured the Swedish talent to north London.

Lucas Bergvall turned down an offer from Barcelona in favour of Tottenham’s project which was then spearheaded by Ange Postecoglou. Now, Thomas Frank has replaced Postecoglou at the helm, and the central midfielder has been going from strength to strength this season.
