Tottenham Hotspur are set to push ahead with a deal for Andy Robertson, who will be available on a free this summer, having missed out on the Liverpool legend during the January window.

On Thursday evening, Andrew Robertson dropped a bombshell, outlining his plans for the future after months of speculation.

The Liverpool full-back, whose contract is set to expire this summer, has decided to part ways with the Reds, opting not to renew his deal.

That decision is set to bring an end to a near-decade-long stay at Anfield for the full-back, who has won everything there is to win in club football.

Robertson’s announcement will undoubtedly have caught the attention of Tottenham, who were keen on signing the full-back during the winter window.

However, Spurs’ efforts to sign Robertson in January were scuppered by Liverpool, as they were not keen to part with the 32-year-old, given their lack of depth at full-back.
