Tottenham Hotpsur are reportedly the favourites to sign Andy Robertson this summer, subject to staying in the Premier League. The Scottish defender has confirmed he will depart the Reds at the end of the season, bringing a trophy‑laden nine years on Merseyside to an end.

Clubs have started to line up for his signature on a free transfer, but the Athletic claim it's Spurs who are in pole position for his services. However, this will of course, depend on whether they can retain their top-flight status.

The Echo reported in January that Spurs held talks over a move for Robertson, but Liverpool were unwilling to sanction a mid‑season exit. The 32-year-old will now leave on a free transfer when his contract concludes at the end of the campaign.
