Rangers star Nicolas Raskin once again performed poorly in Saturday’s 4-2 win over Dundee United.

Raskin may leave Rangers in the summer, and he needs to make the most of the time he has left at Ibrox before speculation around his future re-emerges.

Danny Rohl is doing an excellent job in Govan, and the 24-year-old has been a key part of the team’s form in the Scottish Premiership.

However, in recent weeks, the Belgium international hasn’t been at his best, and although it hasn’t had an effect on results, it’s definitely becoming a concern.

As Rangers are firmly in a title race, they need Raskin to be at his best ahead of the split, which clearly wasn’t the case against Dundee United.

Although he initially played in a more advanced role under the likes of Philippe Clement and Barry Ferguson, Rohl is using Raskin deeper.

Having partnered Mohamed Diomande, Connor Barron and Tochi Chukwuani in midfield this season, it’s clear that it is an unorthodox role for him.

According to Sofascore, he won 60 per cent of his ground duels, but only 33 per cent of his aerial duels against Dundee United.
