Huddersfield Town defender Lasse Sorensen is looking for his side to embrace the “pressure” that comes with their League One promotion push.

The Terriers are targeting a return to the Championship at the second attempt, having been relegated from the second tier in 2024.

Town recorded a tenth-placed finish in League One last term, while they currently occupy the same position in the table with seven matches to go, with the Terriers sitting four points off the top six with a game in hand.

On his side’s promotion push, Sorensen said at a recent press conference: “Of course there’s a pressure here to go up, but that’s the pressure you want, so I don’t think it’s any pressure that should get you down or you should worry about.
