Huddersfield Town forward Joe Taylor has been left “really pleased” with his form at Wigan Athletic with the striker having an impressive goal return during his loan spell to date.

The attacker has netted nine goals in 14 appearances for the Latics after joining the fellow League One outfit on loan from Town in January.

Taylor struck seven times for the Terriers in 27 appearances in the first part of the season, but having featured off the bench on 16 occasions, the forward departed on loan in pursuit of more game time.

Reflecting on his campaign, Taylor told Sky Sports: “I think I struggled at the start of the season to really find that form, whether that be through just being unlucky, or not really having the opportunity to do that, but thankfully coming here, I’ve really hit the ground running, and I’m really pleased with my form.
