Darrell Currie has come under fire after slamming refereeing decisions as Rangers lost to Celtic at Hampden Park.

Celtic secured a 3-1 win over Rangers in the League Cup semi-final on Sunday, but the Old Firm didn’t go without controversy.

Danny Rohl’s side were forced to play with 10 men for over 50 minutes after Thelo Aasgaard was sent off for Rangers.

Rangers released a statement after the Celtic defeat to complain about the refereeing calls that continue to leave fans and players frustrated.

Referee Nick Walsh didn’t send off the Hoops’ centre-back, despite his foot clearly making contact with Butland’s head off the ball.
