Darrell Currie has come under fire after slamming refereeing decisions as Rangers lost to Celtic at Hampden Park.

Rangers released a statement after the Celtic defeat to complain about the refereeing calls that continue to leave fans and players frustrated.

Referee Nick Walsh didn’t send off the Hoops’ centre-back, despite his foot clearly making contact with Butland’s head off the ball.

Following this decision, Currie took to social media to question how many times head of referee operations Willie Collum can say sorry to negatively impacted clubs.

He said: “How many apologies will Willie be handing out? It’s guesswork. Zero consistency in decisions. I’ve said it for a long time.“
