Rangers boss Danny Rohl has expressed his bewilderment regarding the decision not to send Auston Trusty off during the recent Celtic versus Rangers match.

The central defender's boot made contact with Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland's head in the first-half stoppage time.

Referee Nick Walsh, however, only issued a yellow card to Trusty for the incident.

A few days later, Rangers released a statement, declaring their dissatisfaction with the decision not to send Trusty off after talks with the Scottish FA.

Rohl said: "We spoke about two different situations.

"For me, if there is a kick against the head you have to be really careful what you are doing there.
