Rangers' midfielder Lyall Cameron is not injured despite missing recent squad selections.

Fans were left questioning Cameron's fitness after he was absent from matches against Hibs and Celtic.

However, head coach Danny Rohl reassured supporters that Cameron's absence was not due to any new injury concerns.

Rohl said: "I think this is always abut how many players you can take and then you have to look at which positions you have to double up and what could happen during the game."

Cameron had not played in the matches against Falkirk and Dundee United after recovering from an injury.

He did, however, play the last nine minutes of the game against Kilmarnock.

Despite this, he was not part of the squad for the last two games.

Earlier in the season, Cameron enjoyed more game time under the management of Russell Martin, though he was not always a starter.

Rohl explained that his squad choices are based on the needs of each game rather than long-term plans.
