Aston Villa have sent their scouts to watch Swedish sensation Kevin Filling.

That's according to Fotboll Direkt who say the 16-year-old has caught the eye of Villa, RB Leipzig and Manchester United.

It was claimed last week that United had actually made an approach for the AIK teenager, who has scored two in his first eight senior games, including IFK Göteborg in June.

In all he has only made two starts for the Allsvenskan, who sit fourth in the table, but is regarded as one of the rising stars of Swedish football.

However, it emerged claims of a United approach were erroneous, they are not in negotations, but Filling's potential is well known.

AIK are said to be demanding €5million for a player who joined their academy just a couple of years ago.

That would make Filling their second biggest transfer of all time after they sold Alexander Isak to Borussia Dortmund in 2017 for a rumoured €9m.
