Fit-again Bobby De Cordova-Reid could start for Leicester City against Middlesbrough on Tuesday evening with four potential changes to the line-up.

City manager Marti Cifuentes tends to make around four changes for midweek fixtures, feeling that fresh legs are required but that too many alterations leads to a lack of cohesion.

Of those that could come into the side, De Cordova-Reid will be a strong contender.

With Aaron Ramsey injured, De Cordova-Reid is seen by Cifuentes as City’s next best option in attacking midfield. He was only fit enough to play from the bench on Saturday, but could replace Boubakary Soumare in the line-up against Boro.

Other changes could come at full-back. Ricardo Pereira has traditionally been rested in midweek matches, with Hamza Choudhury coming in.

Meanwhile, Victor Kristiansen was withdrawn with a slight injury during his first start of the season against Blackburn and so Luke Thomas could return to the 11 on Tuesday evening.
