Rangers' Danilo had the team 1-0 up at Easter Road last night however, the Brazilian striker wasn't the only Silva to steal fans' hearts.

Danilo's proud dad, Marcelo Silva has became an 'icon' overnight after he was spotted in amongst the fans at the away end dancing and cheering for his son.

Marcelo, wearing a Rangers strip with 'Danilo' and 99 on the back, was pictured hugging fans after his boy scored just after five minutes in. Fans say he 'made a difference' to the atmosphere, with some calling for him to 'start on Sunday'.

The goal was enough to seal all three points for the Gers as they leap up to third, and making it back-to-back wins in the league for the first time this season.

As the game went on into the second-half, still 1-0, Marcelo was even seen waving a Rangers flag in amongst the crowd. Could this be a new Glasgow celeb?
