Former Rangers striker Mark Hateley believes Danny Rohl has already transformed the team after just three games.

Hateley has been hugely impressed by the changes he's seen in the squad since Rohl took over last midweek.

After a tough start in the Europa League with a 3-0 loss to SK Brann, Rohl has led Rangers to consecutive victories in the Scottish Premiership.

They defeated Kilmarnock 3-1 and secured a narrow 1-0 win at Easter Road.

Hateley told football betting site BetWright: "In the first few games since Danny Rohl took charge of Rangers, you could see the instant difference he’d had on the team since taking over from Russell Martin.

"Rangers have now got a manager that is proactive, who wants to reconnect the players with the supporters.

"All good managers aren’t afraid to chop and change formations and Rohl is no exception; it’s refreshing to see."

Hateley praised Rohl's tactical approach, noting a marked increase in the team's intensity and press.
