Marti Cifuentes has hinted that he will rethink his Leicester City starting line-up after the loss at Hull.

Cifuentes was the most displeased he has been with any City performance so far this season after a “really bad” first half that fell well below his standards.

He also called the team “fragile” and suggested that they did not work back quickly enough to stop Hull’s opener, which set the tone for a first half in which the hosts cut them apart.

Cifuentes had made four changes for the game, bringing in Hamza Choudhury, Boubakary Soumare, Jordan Ayew and Patson Daka.

The changes were made to increase the energy levels in the team and protect certain players like Ricardo Pereira from overexertion, but also to ensure that squad members feel they will be handed opportunities.

But Cifuentes said he now needs to reflect on who he chooses following such a disappointing defeat.
