Thomas Frank has praised the Lewis family for reaffirming their long-term commitment to Tottenham via a notable cash injection.

Earlier this month, £100million was pumped into Spurs and more money could yet follow as the club seek to fulfil their potential on the field.

That is good news for Frank, who oversaw a £125m spend on new players this summer during his first window at the helm, as Tottenham are evidently planning to spend a credible percentage of those finances in the transfer market.

Frank said of the Lewis family, who have continually insisted the club is not for sale since the departure of Daniel Levy: "First and foremost, I think it's hugely positive that the Lewis family is clearly showing their interest in doing everything they can to improve the club and back the club as they want us to be as successful as possible. I think that's a sign of it, that they are injecting cash into the club."
