Rangers finally look like sorting their off-field issues, with help from UEFA.

Rangers have been fraught with constant chaos this season, and that has seen them sitting in eighth place in the Scottish Premiership.

Andrew Cavenagh and the 49ers Enterprises, the Gers’ principal owners, have overseen a painful transition into Scottish football.

Kevin Muscat is in line to become the new Rangers boss, after a deal was agreed to bring the ex-Gers star to Govan.

However, David Edgar, who runs the Heart and Hand podcast, reported on 16 October that the Light Blues have to sort special dispensation from UEFA as he achieved his coaching badges outside of Europe.

He states that the vibes that are emerging from all parties are positive, but it is not done until all the details are sorted out.

It is understood that a potential announcement could come after Friday, as Muscat‘s Shanghai Port are in action.
