After the disappointment of losing, at Sincil Bank, against Lincoln City, I struggled to find any positive points to reflect upon.

Perhaps we could consider the return of Teden Mengi as a semi-positive point with the centre-back getting sixty minutes under his belt, in his first game of the season after being injured in a pre-season friendly fixture against Southend United.

But perhaps the only real positive point was another cameo performance from Shayden Morris with the ex-Aberdeen winger coming on in the sixtieth minute.

Once again, Shayden showed exactly what he brings to the side, his pace, direct running and ability to take on players with ease, made the Hatters look a far more potent threat.

Which begs me to ask the question  – why doesn’t he play from the start?

At Aberdeen, last season, Morris played in every game but only actually started in eleven.

Does that mean he is considered a game-changer, coming on to turn things around when his side are in trouble?

Or could it be a stamina issue?

My stance is that I’d prefer Shayden to start and to provide the attacking impetus to put Luton Town on the front foot, even if...
