Well, what a rollercoaster ride last night was up in the north-west of the country!

With Blackpool struggling and in the relegation zone prior to kick-off, the suggestion was that the Hatters could be set to make it two wins on the bounce.

Sadly, the XI selected by Matt Bloomfield struggled to get going and broke the first law of playing an away game, of silencing the home support, by conceding an early goal, courtesy of CJ Hamilton.

Matters got worse, early in the second half, when Hamilton scored a second, giving Blackpool a 2-0 lead.

It looked very much as if our recent poor form had returned and not many Luton Town fans would have expected what was to come.

A trio off substitutions gave the Hatters fresh impetus and one of the substitutes, Jordan Clark, reduced the arrears with seventy-eight minutes played.

Suddenly there was hope, and into stoppage time, when another of the trio of substitutes, Gideon Kodua, was fouled in the area, the on-loan West Ham United player calmly slotted home the resulting spot-kick.

The points, as a result, were shared, but were Luton Town deserving of a point, I’ll let you decide.
