Aston Villa have been working on a deal to sign Marcos Senesi on a free transfer but now face competition from Tottenham Hotspur.

The defender’s Bournemouth contract runs out in the summer, with the player not renewing his deal. He’s impressed this season, playing 30 times in the Premier League.
