Speaking on the latest episode of Stick to Football, Premier League great Ian Wright has shared his love for Sheffield Wednesday’s stadium.

The former Arsenal and Crystal Palace forward enjoyed a fantastic career at the highest level of the game. Wright also played 33 times for England during his career, scoring nine goals.

Now, the former striker is a prominent face in football punditry, featuring on Match of the Day for a long time.

He’s also one of the regulars on the Overlap’s Stick to Football, alongside Gary Neville, Roy Keane, Jill Scott, Wayne Rooney, and Jamie Carragher.

The show focuses mainly on the topflight, so the Owls don’t get much of a mention. However, in episode 124: ‘Great Goals, Iconic Moments & The Top Transfers in Football History’, Sheffield Wednesday were dropped into the conversation.

Host Gary Neville asked Rooney, Keane and Wright what they believed were the greatest grounds in the Premier League.
