Alexander Isak is in line for a Liverpool return at Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night after nearly four months out.

The Sweden international travelled with his team-mates to the French capital for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie after returning to full training last week.

Isak hasn’t featured since he suffered a broken ankle and fractured leg on December 20 when he scored the opening goal in the 2-1 win at Tottenham Hotspur.

Reds head coach Arne Slot confirmed at PSG’s Parc des Princes on Tuesday night that the £125m striker will be involved having made the journey with his colleagues.
