Since moving to Bayern Munich last summer, Luis Diaz has gone up a level. Both he and Jamie Carragher discussed the move after Tuesday night’s Champions League action.

With 23 goals and 15 assists in all competitions this season, Diaz is showing the world that he is elite. He, Michael Olise and Harry Kane have 140 goal contributions between them.

It’s a move that worked out very well for the German giants, but not so much for the Reds. Liverpool have missed Diaz in the front line. That being said, both he and Carragher think it was the right move — for different reasons.
