Florian Wirtz believes his Liverpool struggles are behind him as he insists he is improving since joining the Premier League.

The Germany starlet endured a tough transition period after making his big-money move from Bayer Leverkusen. However, Wirtz is emerging as a key player for the Reds and is in fine form on the back of his impressive international break form for Die Mannschaft, which brought two goals and two assists in a 4-3 win over Switzerland.

The 22-year-old made the switch to the Premier League champions for £116million during the summer and had to remain patient to show his potential at Anfield.

Wirtz has admitted that it was a difficult start with Arne Slot's side, but he believes he is out of the other side and can make the Reds better.
