Excellent news from Rotterdam as the young Newcastle United stars have defeated PSG.

The Orange Veins Cup is organised in conjunction with top tier Dutch side Excelsior Rotterdam.

This weekend the Newcastle United Under 15s amongst the top clubs represented.

Four group matches saw  NUFC win two and draw two, finishing top of their group and progressing to the semi-finals.

The Newcastle United Under 15s went 1-0 down in their semi-final before bouncing back to win 3-1 against Borussia Monchengladbach, with two goals from Charlie Robinson and one from Daniel Hynd.

United then going a goal up against PSG in the final with Muawiya Ghanem putting Newcastle ahead, the exciting prospect picked up from West Brom and showing great progress with NUFC.

However, PSG equalised and forced a shootout, only for the young Newcastle United stars to win on penalties.

A brilliant effort to lift the Orange Veins Cup and as a bonus, England Under 15s international and exciting up and coming Newcastle youngster Charlie Robinson named Player of the Tournament.
