Odysseas Vlachodimos claims Newcastle United did not keep to their word after his move to the club from Nottingham Forest back in 2024. The Greek goalkeeper has made just one appearance for the Magpies since then, a Carabao Cup appearance against AFC Wimbledon in October of the same year.

Vlachodimos came on for the injured Martin Dubravka, with Nick Pope also out injured at the time. However, the England international would return to full fitness not long after, meaning the Greek goalkeeper would struggle for game time.

He joined La Liga side Sevilla last summer on a season-long loan, and has been a regular for the Spanish club this year.

Vlachodimos claims he was told of a plan when he arrived at Newcastle United, but that plan changed a week before the first game of the season.
