Brann sporting director Per-Ove Ludvigsen is delighted with the capture of Rabbi Matondo from Rangers and he wants to unleash the Welsh attacker.
The Liverpool-born attacking talent attracted big clubs early doors in his career, after he started his career at Welsh giants Cardiff City.
Premier League giants Manchester City picked him up in 2016, where he spent three years in their academy, and won Pep Guardiola’s praise for his pace.
The German giants Schalke signed Matondo and he played in 32 senior games for them before joining Rangers four years ago.
Schalke added multiple ambitious add-ons when he left for the Gers, but he did not live up to expectations in his four-year spell at the Scottish giants.
And one Rangers legend claimed three years ago that Matondo was not a starting player, but only an off-the-bench substitute.
Last year, a host of Championship clubs were keen on the Welsh international, but a move away from Ibrox did not materialise.
