David French served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Rangers for three months, joining at the start of 2026.

The decision to hire French was made in December, with him assuming his role in January.

The former CEO of the Aviva Stadium in Dublin filled the seat that was left vacant following Sean Jefferson’s interim spell.

French, who was responsible for all the commercial matters at Rangers, took to LinkedIn to confirm he had left the club.

In the “experience” section of his profile, his stint at the Light Blues is from January to March 2026.

Reports had claimed that he had parted ways with the club, and he himself has gone on to update his job history.

Had he still been at Rangers, it would not have mentioned an end date, but this confirms that he only held his role for three months and is no longer associated with the Ibrox outfit.

Prior to his move to Glasgow, French boasted stints at Nokia, Manchester United and the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai.
