Tochi Chukwuani has made an excellent start to his Rangers career, and already looks capable of commanding Gers’ engine room for many years to come.

Arriving as the first of four new signings in this season’s winter transfer window, it wasn’t immediately clear how big of a role Chukwuani would play in his first few months at Ibrox.

Having only just turned 23-years old on 24 March, the Denmark youth international had only ever turned out in Austrian and Danish football respectively before making the switch to the Scottish Premiership.

As such, he was always going to be afforded a transitional period in Glasgow if he so required one, but as it’s turned out, that wasn’t necessary.

Chukwuani has already pretty much cemented a starting role in Danny Rohl‘s XI, and looks set to play a massive part in Rangers’ Scottish Premiership title run-in over the coming weeks.

Chukwuani is one of Rangers’ most important players already, with three goals from his first 11 appearances in all competitions.
