Rangers and Wolverhampton Wanderers are among the clubs to have shown transfer interest in BK Häcken’s Silas Andersen. Danny Röhl’s side were keen on bringing him to Ibrox in the winter market but a move didn’t take shape.

Back in January, Sport Witness covered claims from Denmark that Rangers are ahead of Celtic in the transfer race.

It’s unclear whether Röhl’s side are still keen on securing the player’s services in the summer. If the Ibrox club are in the mix, they’ll face competition from Wolves and others.

On March 21st, Sport Witness covered claims from Sweden of the Premier League side wanting to bring him to Molineux after this season.

The midfielder joined the Swedish club from FC Utrecht in January 2025 and played 46 matches, managing six goals and three assists.

His league stats last year are as follows:

  • Appearances: 26
  • Starts: 24
  • Total minutes: 2,183
  • Minutes per game: 84
  • Duels won per game: 7.4
  • Ball recovered per game: 7.0
  • Tackles per game: 3.2
  • Clearances: 3.3

Last month, the 21-year-old signed a new contract, which lasts until December 2029.
