By the time this article hits the front page, hopefully I will be on my happy holidays.

I say hopefully because it appears I could be subject to numerous delays thanks to strike action by the Spanish workers at Palma airport.

My destination may be an adults only hotel in Majorca, but it seems that I could be stood in several long queues relating to immigration and baggage.

Plus, it appears that the wait to enter the island may be further disrupted as I attempt to navigate the new Entry-Exit-System (EES) which is intended to negate, in the very near future, the need to get your passport stamped.

Now I am all for change, but I am not sure how long I will be expected to stand on my wobbly legs whilst the Spaniards try to navigate my entry onto the island, hopefully, it will all go well and I will not end up in a heap on the floor at my wife’s feet.
