Oliver Glasner will inevitably be linked with the head coach role at Newcastle United this summer, if the Magpies don't turn their Premier League form around, according to ex-United midfielder Did Hamann.

Newcastle suffered another home Premier League defeat on Saturday when they lost 3-2 to Everton, their third consecutive home setback in the league following losses to Aston Villa and Brentford.

An error from keeper Nick Pope allowed Everton to retake the lead after United had battled back on level terms through Jacob Ramsey following Jarrad Branthwaite's opener.

More defensive mistakes again cost Eddie Howe's side dearly in the second period, when Thierno Barry turned the ball home following after Anthony Gordon was robbed of possession, just minutes after Jacob Murphy had once more levelled.
