The Rangers academy has always played a major role in shaping stars for the team, and fans will be delighted that it remains a bedrock of the board’s plans.

According to Rangers Review journalist Chris Jack, the Rangers Youth Development fund have made a significant contribution to the Auchenhowie academy.

They have added another £300,000 to the kitty to help the next generation of players at Govan.

This has taken the total amount to a whopping £12.5million for the youth development since 2002.

Callum Burnside, Findlay Curtis, Lewis Stewart, Mason Munn and Calum Adamson are among the recent Rangers graduates to have benefited from these donations.
