Leicester City should appoint a new manager who can nurture their “huge potential”, interim boss and club icon Andy King believes.

King is in the hotseat for now but won’t be taking over permanently, with City on the hunt for Marti Cifuentes’ successor.

City are on a downward trend at the moment with their current position of 17th in the Championship the lowest they’ve sat in the football league ladder at this stage of a season since they were in League One 17 years ago.

But King believes that with the talent coming through, there is an opportunity for a manager to get City rising up the ranks again.
