Ryan Naderi joined the Scottish Premiership club on deadline day from Hansa Rostock.

The 22-year-old striker could be in line to make his first appearance for the club tomorrow night at Ibrox.

He made the move after initially agreeing a £3 million summer transfer, however, the club chose to pay in excess of £4.5 million to land him now instead.

He was eager to join Rangers.

Naderi told Rangers TV: "It’s hard to describe, I’m just really proud to wear this jersey.

"I’m excited to meet all of the players and staff, and can’t wait to stand on the pitch.

"We first came in contact a few weeks ago, and for me it was clear that I definitely wanted to do it. I was really excited, I talked to my parents, my whole family, who were all excited too.

"It’s an unbelievable honour to be in this situation.

"I'm really hungry and I want to get started now."
