Brazilian forward Danilo has left Rangers to join NEC Nijmegen on loan until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old will return to the Netherlands, where he began his career in the Ajax youth system.

NEC Nijmegen, currently playing in the Eredivisie, have the option to purchase Danilo in the summer for an estimated £6 million.

The move was delayed for a couple of days as the Ibrox side finalised their move for Ryan Naderi prior to last night's 11pm deadline.
