EDDIE HOWE has made three changes to his Newcastle United side for tonight's game against Liverpool.

Howe has sprung something of a surprise in attack, with Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa both starting on the bench.

Anthony Gordon looks set to lead the line, supported by Anthony Elanga and Harvey Barnes on the flanks. Barnes and Gordon replace Woltemade and Lewis Miley in the starting XI.

Kieran Trippier also comes into the side, replacing Sven Botman, who drops to the bench.
