Nottingham Forest have seriously  joined the race to sign Beşiktaş forward Tammy Abraham, according to Friday evening claims from Turkey.

The 28-year-old has been linked with a transfer to Aston Villa over the past week as they look to add to their attacking line.

Ertan Süzgün reports on new developments regarding Abraham’s Beşiktaş future as the Black Eagles hope to cash in on him. Currently on loan from AS Roma, Beşiktaş have an obligation to purchase the attacker for €13m if certain criteria are met.

The Super Lig club are prepared to bring that purchase forward, and then sell Abraham for €20m.

It’s claimed Nottingham Forest are now in the mix to sign the former Chelsea man following reports today that Aston Villa have made an offer.

Sean Dyche will be looking to bring in an experienced centre forward this month as they face a relegation battle. Forest are currently seven points from safety.
