Rangers are looking to improve Danny Röhl’s attacking options in the winter market. They have identified VfL Wolfsburg’s Andreas Skov Olsen as a target and want to bring him to Ibrox.

The Denmark international joined the Bundesliga side from Club Brugge in January 2025. He hasn’t enjoyed a good time since moving to Germany. To put it in context, the winger has scored one goal in 361 minutes from eight league matches this season.

This hasn’t put off Röhl’s side as they’re trying to bring him to Ibrox. Two days ago, we covered claims from Germany that Rangers have initiated contact to sign him.

Later that day, Bild reported Rangers are willing to offer an escape route to Wolfsburg’s ‘complete flop’. The German newspaper also stated negotiations between the two clubs were ongoing.

Bold in Denmark now provide the latest on the Scottish club’s pursuit of the 26-year-old.

They claim Rangers have ‘fallen in love’ with the attacker and are keen on securing his services in January.
